So here’s how the story goes…Lilly had casually left a comment on a friend’s instagram post, and Matthew- clearly loving her profile picture and current posts😉- decided to do a little digging. He found her Snapchat and added her that same night.Lilly, as Matthew would put it, is a grandma that goes to bed early. Because she is a grandma, she didn’t see the notification until the next morning on her bus ride to school. At this same time, her life was a bit hectic- she was focused on school and trying to get back on track after a wild summer- so finding a boyfriend wasn’t exactly on her to-do list.But curiosity got the best of her. She did some light stalking (as one does) to see what this guy was all about- where he was from, what he looked like, the usual. And that’s when she saw it: his smile, his love for life, and of course his John Deere, and 89’ truck (as seen in some of their engagement pictures). Oh- and the kicker? His mom worked dispatch, just like Lilly’s. After the rollercoaster of a summer, she thought “how bad could he be?”And just like that, she was sold. She added him back, and they immediately started talking. The more they chatted, the more they realized how much they had in common. A few football and volleyball games, a few hangouts, and a little courage from Matthew later…the rest is history♥️
