This is a Civil War historical site! The fort itself is free to walk around and you are able to walk around at your own pace, no guided tours necessary. There are also quite a few nature walks around the fort that are beautiful!

You can visit the Pepsi Store, Union Point Park, and a variety of other shops and restaurants in Downtown New Bern! Downtown New Bern offers waterfront sidewalks for your walking/viewing pleasure as well.
