<p>Matt and Lilly have been friends since the beginning of high school. They used to eat lunch together, sit by each other in English class, and just naturally became really close. Over time, that friendship turned into something more. Lilly gave Matt a notebook with everything she had been feeling and told him that if he felt the same way, the code word was “potatoes” since it was their favorite food. Later that day, they went to the movies with friends, and when the movie began, Matt leaned over and whispered “potatoes” in Lilly’s ear. They held hands for the first time, and Matt’s Apple Watch was going crazy because his heart rate shot up.A few weeks later at prom, they slow danced to Lilly’s favorite song, which Matt had requested, and that was when he officially asked her to be his girlfriend. The next three years were filled with road trips, late-night milkshakes, and a lot of laughter. Then, on a trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama, Matt proposed on the beach with the waves coming in around them. They started as high school sweethearts, and now they’re getting married. They had always talked about using that same prom song for their first dance, and now they finally get to.</p>
