Our Story

On October 13th, 2021, Lily Ann was giving her first tour at Toccoa Falls College (TFC) for the Office of Admissions. Little did she know that the boy she was giving the tour to would be her future husband. Jayce was personally super unhappy that his mom was making him tour TFC because he considered this college to be in the backyard of where he grew up in Royston, GA. It only took about fifteen minutes into the tour for Lily Ann to no longer be nervous about the tour and for Jayce to realize that he might actually like TFC.

The tour was spent talking about their love for Jesus, others, and the nations… Lily Ann kinda failed at showing Jayce the campus because she just wanted to talk to him. She was amazed to see a man who loved the Lord so radically, and Jayce was intrigued by the way she talked about her faith. As soon as Lily Ann got back to the office, she told all of her co-workers that she was going to marry the boy from the tour, and she even called her parents to let them know that she had met their future son-in-law. The next day, she rode by The Sixty Two venue in Madison, GA and told her roommate that that was where she intended to marry Jayce Kimsey. Meanwhile, after the tour, Jayce’s mom told him he needed to start praying about his tour guide because she thought the Lord had something in store there, and Jayce would not stop telling his brothers about the girl from the tour.

Once Jayce transferred to TFC in January of 2022, they were dating less than a month later. Fast forward three years later, and Lily Ann is marrying Jayce Kimsey at the Sixty Two, and Jayce is getting to spend his life with the girl from the tour.

The past three years have certainly had their challenges, but to see the Lord’s hand on our relationship has been one of the sweetest blessings for both of us thus far in our lives. He has continually been refining our hearts to look more like His, and we long for the sanctification that marriage will bring. More than anything, we want people to see the glory of the Lord in our wedding ceremony as they experience our special day. The love we feel for each other is deep, yet it cannot touch the Father’s love over us and all of our guests. We are thankful for everyone joining in on this journey with us and are praying for our marriage to continually bring us closer to the feet of the throne of our King.
