Eric and Lily started dating in June of 2018. They went on their first date to Great American Ball Park to watch a Reds vs. Cubs game.

Eric and Lily spent almost every college weekend together at fraternity and sorority date parties with their best friends.

Eric and Lily graduated from Miami University's Farmer School of Business together in May of 2020. Eric graduated with a degree in Finance and Lily graduated with a degree in Marketing with minors in Supply Chain Management and Graphic Design

After graduating, Lily moved back home to Glencoe and Eric moved back home to New Richmond. After 6 months of long distance, Eric moved into an apartment with his college friends. Lily eventually moved into her own apartment with her high school friends.

Eric and Lily closed on their first home together in Lincoln Park, Chicago!

Lily called Eric during his annual golf trip and asked him if she could put a deposit down on a miniature dachshund named Navy Bean. On May 11th 2023, they brought her home and re-named her Lola.

Eric proposed to Lily at the Chicago Lakefront. They ate dinner together at Theatre on the Lake and then went back to their condo for a surprise engagement party. Lily was so surprised!
