Our story began at Brother’s Bar and Grill in Bloomington, IN. We were both enjoying a night out with friends and kept making eye contact with each other from across the room. Eventually, we introduced ourselves and talked for a long while. Our conversation felt easy and comfortable for both of us. At the end of the night, we exchanged numbers and went our separate ways. It wasn’t until second semester that our paths crossed again. We both ended up in the same elective class. World Arts and Cultures, which happened to be one out of hundreds of elective options to choose from and we ended up choosing the same one. We sat next to each other the rest of the semester. The rest is history!
