After matching on two different dating apps, Caleb and Lily decided they should give it a try. After Lily did a quick reference check with some mutual friends who knew Caleb, they went on their first date in October of 2023 (the mutual friends helped Caleb pass the review with flying colors)! In September of 2024, Lily and Caleb went to Memphis to explore the city and walked away from that trip knowing they wanted to marry each other. In December of 2024, the happy couple went to visit Caleb's family in Wales for Christmas. They had discussed getting engaged for a few months but decided to wait until early 2025. Caleb even told Lily a month or so before the trip that he didn't plan on proposing and wanted to communicate that ahead of time because he knew she'd be wondering the whole time. However, a few weeks before the trip, Caleb said to Lily, "You know how I said I wasn't going to propose while we're in Wales? Well, I might need to amend that statement." In the weeks leading up to the trip, Lily had told her family that she hoped Caleb would propose early into the trip. Fast forward to December 17th, Lily and Caleb had arrived and spent less than 24 hours in Wales before Caleb got down on one knee in Rhossili Bay, Wales! She said "yes!!" before he even got to finish what he was saying.

The thing Caleb and Lily love most about each other is their love for and commitment to the Lord. They view that as the foundation of their relationship and want their marriage to reflect that. They enjoy frequenting the local agua fresca store, spending time with friends and family, finding fun new places around Oklahoma City, and have perfected making pizookies!
