By no means an extensive list, we wanted to share some of our favorite things to do in the Cleveland area for our out-of-town guests. Please let us know if you'd like more specific recommendations!
Every year around Memorial Day weekend, Chagrin Falls puts on a Blossom festival with events Thursday-Sunday. Events usually include a hot air balloon launch, parade, and carnival. More info should be posted at this website closer to the event!
A downtown market with lots of small vendors in Ohio City + lots of cool history! https://westsidemarket.org/
Located about 1.5 hours west of the venue, but is absolutely worth the trip for those who love roller coasters! https://www.cedarpoint.com/
Visit Ohio's national park! Our favorite sights include Brandywine Falls and Ritchie Ledges. https://www.nps.gov/cuva/index.htm
A park along Lake Erie with a great view of downtown and the Cleveland sign! https://www.clevelandmetroparks.com/parks/visit/parks/lakefront-reservation/edgewater-park
Less than 5 minutes from the venue, Lake LaDue is a peaceful spot for fishing or boating. Kayaks are available for rental. See this link for more details.
One of Lily's favorite places, the Cleveland Museum of Art is a beautiful place to visit. The best part - admission is free! https://www.clevelandart.org/
A museum detailing the history of rock & roll, plus memorabilia from famous rock artists. https://www.rockhall.com/
The oldest civic garden center in the country! https://holdenfg.org/cleveland-botanical-garden/plan-your-visit/
The BEST ice cream in town. There is a location just down the road from the hotel in Solon, but if you're in the downtown area, the Ohio City location is where they make the ice cream and offer tours of the facility.
Nick's favorite flavor: Caramel Fudge Brownie. Lily's favorite flavor: Double Chocolate Chunk.
One of our first date spots. Our favorite places here are Corbo's (Lily's favorite cannoli), Mama Santa's for cheap and delicious pizza, and La Dolce Vita for a nicer place with homemade pasta.
A build-your-own taco spot + margaritas. We go every time we're in Cleveland! https://barrio-tacos.com/
For those who enjoy walking around towns browsing shops :)
Less than 5 minutes from the venue! A much smaller town than some of the others, but the town is growing quickly and now has several art galleries, shops, and breweries to look around.
