As with any modern love story, we met on a dating app, Hinge to be specific. Our first date was at Culinary Dropout in Phoenix and a few weeks later we took a day trip to Payson to hike and go horseback riding. Turns out, Lily is the hiker and Daniel much prefers a leisurely nature walk.

Less than a month later, we were official (with Tuna's approval, of course). Daniel insisted on washing Lily's car, cooking her meals, and offering his garage as a home gym during the lockdown - For us, getting butterflies while spending everyday moments together was the start of something special.

By Thanksgiving, Daniel helped Lily's parents unpack from their big move to Arizona and we all spent Thanksgiving together. To this day, we have dinner together almost every Sunday and celebrate holidays as one big family, with both of our parents.

Six months in, we decided we were tired of being cooped up in the dessert and planned our first trip together to Turks and Caicos. We quickly learned we share a love of the ocean and have since made it a tradition to travel to the Caribbean every Spring.

Our love grew so quickly over the years and we have countless memories celebrating each other, traveling and becoming part of each other's families.

After visiting Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas and St. Lucia on our own, we wanted to bring our parents back to our favorite place. Daniel proposed as we walked on the beach our first morning in Turks, with our parents close behind. He said from the day he got out of his truck for our first date and saw Lily, he knew she was the one.

Pretty early into planning, it felt right to bring the rest of our loved ones along as we cross another destination off the list, this time for our wedding!
