Welcome to the wedding website for the wedding of Lily Wagner and Hayden Fellwock. We can’t wait to share our love story with you. Growing up, I, Lily, was very active in the National FFA organization. I met new people all the time. At the Missouri state convention in 2023, I met a guy named Calvin, became snapchat friends, and never talked to each other again. On August 5th, 2023, Calvin posted one of his friends for his birthday. I saw him, and it just felt different. I knew there was something special behind his cute smile and beautiful eyes. I decided why not, and added him on snapchat. We began chatting back and forth for a while, and found out that we lived about 3 hours away. I was going to be moving to Springfield for college about a week later, so we began talking about going on our first date and meeting in person. About a month and a half later we decided to go on our first date. He had the perfect night planned full of both of our favorite things, Chick-fil-a and Bass Pro. My friend Jessika came along to be my wing woman, and to make sure I was safe with this complete stranger. Instantly, we connected in a way that I had never connected with someone before. After dinner, bass pro, and Braum's ice cream, Hayden headed back home, and as soon as we got in the car I remember looking at Jessika and saying I think this could be the one. From then on out, our love for each other grew exponentially and became more and more sure I was going to marry him.
On September 14th, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and of course I said yes. After that we had many truck dates on the dairy farm, Chick-Fil-A and Bass Pro dates, and trips back home. My favorite date was going out in the fields and dancing in the headlights to Cover Me Up by Morgan Wallen. Hayden says his favorite memory of us is dancing to the same song in his living room, and him pulling me close and telling me he loved me for the first time. I had never felt a love so strong as ours. And right away we began talking about how we both couldn’t wait to get married and have a family some day.
On February 14th, we were celebrating Valentine's Day and went out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. He spoiled me with flowers and gifts left and right. I had my suspicions that Hayden may propose, and he said over and over again he wasn’t doing it on a holiday. Then he took me to Bass Pro, we walked around and talked about sweet memories and the love for each other, and then Hayden got down on one knee and proposed, and it was the easiest yes since saying yes to being his girlfriend.
And the rest is history. We have always said we are better together, forever and ever, amen! We are so thankful for all of our family and friends supporting us on our big day, and can’t wait to celebrate with all of our loved ones.
