Kelton and I met in the summer of 2022. We lived in different states, had different hobbies, and met very briefly one Sunday. That brief small moment was nothing extravagant but more than enough for both of us to wonder if God had more up his sleeve. Not long after we met, Kelton received a job offer in Des Moines and moved to a state he never thought he would live in again. We sat down for lunch one day to discuss the idea of being church camp leaders. After that day we never stopped wanting to have lunch together. We dated for a year in a half before we got engaged in December of 2023. Than, four short months later on April 20th, of 2024 we eloped! We had a beautiful and simple ceremony. However, a wedding with all of you was still something we valued so much. We knew the wedding would have to wait, but we simply couldn’t wait to start the journey we felt called to begin. This past year has been nothing but a blessing. We are so grateful for all of you and all your support and we’re so excited to finally celebrate together.
