Harvest Barn
The wedding is in fall so it's the perfect time to go to a pumpkin patch! My family and I used to go to the Harvest Barn every fall, there's activities and a little shop with lots of yummy food and homemade fudge! There's also homemade candles that smell amazing. It was always something I looked forward to in the fall!
Science Center of Iowa
My family and I used to go to the Science Center all the time when I was younger. The exhibits change every once in a while, but there's so many interesting and fun things to do!
Blank Park Zoo
Who doesn't love the zoo? I've always had fun going to the Blank Park Zoo and there are so many different sections based on continents!
Howell's Greenhouse and Pumpkin Patch
Another pumpkin patch! Jack and I went for our 2 year anniversary and had such a great time. Great for kids and so many activities to do there!
John Wayne Birthplace Museum
Winterset is such a beautiful town and the Birthplace of John Wayne! If you like John Wayne or history, this is a great place to visit!
Lake Ahquabi State Park
Jack and I used to visit Ahquabi every so often, it's so beautiful and has many different hiking paths!
Living History Farms
Another great place for history and activities! There's replications of stores, houses, and farms!
