Where will the ceremony and reception take place?
The Cedarbrook. 26440 SE Rugg Rd Damascus, OR 97089.
What time is the ceremony and reception?
Ceremony is expected to start promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive between 4:00-4:20.
What is the dress code?
Be comfortable in what you would like to wear! We are thinking Semi-Formal. Also, please be mindful, the bridal party is wearing green and the groomsmen are wearing navy. So avoid those colors if possible!
What weather should I expect?
Unfortunately, we cannot plan that out this early. Oregon has a lovely way of changing quickly! The beautiful thing, our venue allows for quick adapting. If it is raining, we will be dry and indoors. If it is beautiful and sunny we will be happy outside!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The current plan is to have the ceremony outside, and the reception inside. All at the same exact venue, no need to transport mid celebration!
What should I expect after the ceremony?
We hope to have our reception start shortly after the ceremony. Once guests migrate over to the reception area we will indulge in a feast! There will be desserts, mocktails, and all the food you could enjoy!
Is there easy parking at the venue?
Yes! There is ample parking! We will have two parking attendants available to help get everyone settled and comfortable.
How do I RSVP?
If you look at the top of the wedding website, you will see a tab on the left that says RSVP. Click on that and it will take you through the process. Please RSVP as soon as you know your plans.
If I cannot attend in person, will there be a livestream option?
Yes! We will livestream the ceremony for those who unfortunately cannot make it.
Where do you recommend I stay in the area? (Hotels, Airbnbs)
We recommend you stay at the Quality Inn. Located in Gresham OR, at 2752 NE Hogan Dr, Gresham, OR 97030.
This hotel is 8 minutes away from the venue. However, there are others in the general area that will be accommodating as well!
When searching for Airbnbs, we recommend searching within Gresham, Troutdale, and Damascus, Oregon.
What type of food/drink/dessert will be served?
We will be partaking in an authentic Palestinian feast. There will be chicken shawarma, spiced rice, mediterranean salad, and many more delicacies.
There will be baklava and small cakes for dessert.
Mocktails will be served throughout the reception!
