Lions Head is a great place for shopping and eating. Linda's family grew up here hanging out! At the bottom of the mountain is a gondola to take you up to the top of the mountain, which is where Linda and Michael got engaged.

Vail Valley is just a quick drive via a free bus from Lions Head. More beautiful atmospheres, lots more shopping and even more food. You can also take the gondola from the bottom of the mountain here, and hike across the mountain to Eagles Nest and take the gondola back down on the other side of the mountain, in Lions Head
