Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Kindly, no phones please. We are thrilled to be sharing one of the most precious moments of our lives with you & we ask that you be fully present during this special time. We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. Our wonderful photographers & videographers will be capturing these special moments & we will share them with you all after the wedding!
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list & extra guests will not be allowed. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?
Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, stores and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding.
When is the RSVP deadline?
The RSVP deadline is December 1st. Please RSVP on our website!
Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Yes!
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Guests can park in the large parking lot in front of the building the ceremony & reception are being held. Parking is free!
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 3:30. Please allow for enough time to locate the venue & make it to your seat!
How do I get to the wedding venue?
Bonnet Springs is a big park! When you enter, follow the road all the way down to the end where you will find a brown building & a greenhouse. There, you will park in the parking lot & enter the venue!
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be taking place in an outdoor garden; we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. The reception will be held indoors.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Both the ceremony & reception are taking place at Bonnet Springs Park in Lakeland, Florida.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
January is the coolest month of the year in Florida! January has an average high temperature of 76' F and and an average low temperature of 57' F.
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
To help make this an unforgettable evening, we kindly request that our guests dress to impress with their best semi-formal attire! While we love a good t-shirt, jeans, and flip-flops combo as much as the next person, we kindly ask that you leave them home for this occasion. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat!
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes, we have! Please refer to the “travel” section of our wedding website for more information on the hotel room block.
Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event. Please make it a date night! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Is there a Starbucks at your wedding venue?
We knew you’d ask, YES! In the Welcome Center Café, which is on the way to our venue building at Bonnet Springs, you can find a Starbucks. You’re welcome 😉
