Lindsay and Peter’s story began the way you may have imagined: by walking up to one another and allowing their dogs, Loki and Daisy, to sniff each others butts. They would briefly chat with one another, smile, but then go their separate ways. However, as chance would have it, they showed up on each others dating apps. Lindsay and Peter both swiped right and promptly started talking to one another, agreeing to meet in a more intimate setting. Their first date, at a neighborhood Sicilian restaurant, served up a lot of chemistry.

Afterwards, Peter offered to walk Lindsay to her car. Lindsay was confused, replying that there was no need for that, and instead allowed Peter to walk her home. As they approached Lindsay’s apartment building, Peter stammered: How have we never run into each other before? We have, several times! Lindsay giggled… walking our dogs! Mortified, Peter quickly changed the topic, told her what a great time he had had that night, and kissed her. Afterwards, Peter walked home, kicking himself for not recognizing his hottest neighbor.

Lindsay never let him live that gaffe down, but, nonetheless, agreed to another date. Peter, though embarrassed to this day about not recognizing her, takes comfort in knowing that it signaled the beginning of the most amazing love story of their life!
