How do I RSVP?

RSVPs will be collected online through our Knot website. We will not be collecting mailed RSVPs.

When should I RSVP by?

Formal invitations will be sent out in September. RSVPs are due on November 1st.

Transport to and from The Chez

The Chez is located 15 minutes from O'Hare airport and easily accessible by rideshare partners. Family travelling from central IL / the south can travel 55 N to 355 / 290.

What is the dress code?

Our dress code is black tie optional. Men can wear tuxedos or suit and tie, women can wear floor length ball gowns or cocktail attire. Fun prints and sparkle encouraged! However we would love you to come in whatever is comfortable to you. If there are any questions, please ask.

Where do we stay?

We have arranged room blocks in The Chez and Double Tree hotel for our wedding party at special rates for both Friday and Saturday, or only Saturday depending on your travel preferences. Please use block codes to be associated with the block. If there are no more rooms in the block, please let us know and we will contact the hotel to see if we can expand the blocks.

Day of Transport

There is a free shuttle from the Double Tree to and from The Chez prior to the ceremony and after the reception.

There is free parking at The Chez and Double Tree hotels

When do things get started?

Our ceremony starts at 5pm sharp so we can get to the fun, food, and libations on time. Please arrive in a timely manner to be settled by 5pm so we can get to the party!

I have a dietary restriction.. what do I do?

Please let us know your restrictions in the RSVP alongside your food preference. Our venue is flexible and will attempt to accommodate all allergies, restrictions, and preferences within reason.

What's the bar scene? (Second most important question)

Open and flowing! It is most important to us that you are here to celebrate with us and enjoy good food, good drink, and great company. We will have two signature drinks, all beer, wine, and mixed spirits are on us.

I want photos of the event on my phone!!

We get it. We love sharing on instagram and facebook instantaneously too. However we are hosting an unplugged ceremony. During the ceremony please refrain from taking photos on your phone during the procession, ceremony, and after. We will pause for a time for everyone to snap a photo during the ceremony however we would love to see your faces in our professional photography and unobstructed views. After the ceremony, feel free to go crazy! Snap all the photos and we want to see them all!
