Cameron and Lindsay met at Louisiana Tech University in the Spring of 2015. They met through mutual friends while attending social events during Lindsay's freshman year and Cameron's sophomore year. At the time, Lindsay always knew she liked Cameron, but kept it a secret.

Shortly after Cameron and Lindsay became friends, Lindsay moved to Ohio to be with her family and attended Ohio State University. Due to her moving across the country, Cameron and Lindsay lost touch. Fast forward to December of 2017, Lindsay decided to reach out after seeing Cameron was recently single, and they ended up going on a date while Lindsay was visiting Louisiana a few weeks after.

Cameron and Lindsay continued to date long distance for a year and a half, with Lindsay finishing up her Dental Hygiene degree in Ohio, and Cameron working on his Medical Degree in Louisiana. Cameron would visit Ohio often going to fun events around Columbus, and Lindsay would visit Shreveport whenever she had the chance.

In June of 2019, after finishing school, Lindsay moved to Shreveport to be closer to Cameron. On December 30th, 2019, Cameron proposed.... and the rest is history!
