After a day filled with best friend's and pool time with Bruno, somehow Topher convinced me to shower and wear white ("baby you look so good in white") before heading to City Park to hunt for alligators.

Topher kept asking the timeframe, the meetup spot, and all the rest and I remember my response was "geesh, just relax, everything will be fine." I couldn't figure out why, for the first time ever, he cared so much about a plan.

Well, he managed to get my parents to meet us, and also have 2 of my best friends with their kids and everyone still kept it secret from me!

I do recall the drive over he was out of sorts which now, obviously, makes sense.

When we arrived, the kids got so excited to see the swans, so I ran over to the swan and Topher prepped the family...

He came over and whispered, "the alligators are sometimes over there." After I mentioned bringing the kids, he said, "naw, let's wait 'til we find one," and I agreed that was brilliant thinking.

And, after a bunch of compliments, disbelief and falling over his leg, I said yes.
