A six minute drive from our reception venue, Parlor is one of our absolute FAVORITE places in KC! It's the perfect combination of laidback, unique, and fun! We have gone for lunch, for evening drinks, for a coffee study/work date, and more--it's very diverse! Parlor has eight different startup restaurants, so there's always something for everyone. And, of course, they have great drinks. :)

Located three minutes from the church, Brookside Barrio is in the heart of one of KC's hidden gems--Brookside! It is a laidback Mexican restaurant with insanely delicious food and a fun outdoor patio!

You're welcome to take a tour of the brewery while you're here, but our favorite part is the Beer Hall--it has a great atmosphere, an outdoor space, yummy snacks, and of course, beer. :)

A Kansas City staple, the Power and Light District has a large variety of bars and restaurants.You can also take the streetcar to our venue (or close, at least). Our favorites here are No Other Pub, BRGR, and Bar Louie!

City Market in itself is a blast, but the Farmers' Market is also open on Saturday and Sunday mornings. It's five minutes from our reception venue!
