Our love story began at Christ the King Catholic School. David had just gotten a job as a PE teacher there in 2022, and Lindsay was going on her 3rd year there. For the first few months we were just coworkers, but as volleyball season rolled around, Lindsay began to spend more time in the gym. Eventually our friendship started to feel like something more, and before we even knew it, the students could tell we liked each other. Lindsay likes to brag about how she asked David out, which she did. However, it didn’t take long for David to realize how special Lindsay was, and on December 7th, he asked her to be his girlfriend. Our love only grew from there.

Not only did his love for Lindsay grow, but David quickly fell in love with her precious Boston Terrier, Rosie. This was an extraordinary feat as David always considered himself a cat person. We love to include Rosie in all our adventures - taking her on long and sometimes not so long walks, drives to Starbucks for a Pup Cup, and cuddling on the couch watching Grey’s Anatomy. We even added to our little family by adopting Lindsay’s Grammy’s cat, Misty. Knowing he wanted to make this little family official, David started making plans to pop the question.

On the way to Thanksgiving dinner with Lindsay’s family, David “missed the turn” and took Lindsay to Castaway Island Preserve where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Through happy tears, Lindsay gave a joyous “yes.”

We cannot wait to celebrate our love with you as we begin this exciting new chapter in our lives.
