On June 8, 2018, Ryan and Lindsay were set up by friends on a semi-blind date. They were the only single people at an end of school pool party hosted by mutual friends. They knew they were going to meet each other and he texted her before to start the conversation.

Their "official" first date was at The Rotten Bunch on a Sunday afternoon after church. From there they have dated ever since sharing lots of adventures together. They have had a great time falling in love with each other, including the girls, and love sharing this time with Kylie, Kennedy and Kaylan. They are so excited to officially become a family of 5!
