Once upon a time, in the year 1980 to be exact, a baby boy and baby girl were born into this world, just two cities and a few months apart from each other. Despite that fact, their lives would take completely separate trajectories before finally intertwining. Lindsay, born in Scotts Valley, would move to Colorado at a very early age and would grow up there. She developed a deep love for animals, enjoys singing to R&amp;B and Folk Music, and somehow she would also come to like Metallica. Her favorite show while growing up was Designing Women, which inspired her to become an Interior Designer after graduating from CSU (Colorado State University). Go Rams!But alas, like many people during the downturn of 2008, she got laid off. Determined to find a new career, she channeled her caring nature and became a nurse. Shortly thereafter, California came calling… Paulo, born in Santa Clara, would spend most of his life in the area, with two stints in his mother’s hometown of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A huge sports fan, he played many sports growing up but excelled at soccer, which happened to run deep within his blood. He would go on to graduate from San Jose State University, majoring in Business, which fit his good nature and social persona. Lindsay and Paulo happened to meet each other on a dating app. By the time they had met, Lindsay had been in two major relationships in her life and was still on the hunt for “the one”. She had already grown a bit jaded with this search, but decided to leave her heart open to the possibility.Paulo had been married before and already had a step son and a daughter from his previous marriage. He had justgone through a major transition in his life and was not looking for anything too serious, but also decided to leave his heart open to possibilities. And the universe just happened to be listening… After weeks of texting with each other, they finally had their first date in Campbell and the connection was instant! Their conversation flowed as if they had known each other for years and although Paulo is extremely competitive in nature, he was not too upset when Lindsay kicked his butt in Mrs. Pacman at the arcade they happened to walk to after dinner. Fast forward to today, Linsday and Paulo have a beautiful two year old daughter named Amelia and reside together in Almaden, where Linsday is also an amazing step-mom to Ariana and dog mom to Mabel. They both enjoy quiet family nights, playing cards whenever possible, and heading to the coast or the mountains from time to time. Generally, their relationship is just…easy!
