Our story started in the summer of 2022 when Matthew and I met at Family Church Downtown through the summer internship program. We both were serving in student ministry at that time and worked on a project together. Over the course of the summer, we had many conversations and Matthew thought he had made it clear that he liked me, but I didn't fully process things until he brought me a Large McDonald's Sprite (the way to my heart) at Student Camp. We didn't start dating until the spring of 2023, but Matthew played long ball, and it all paid off in the end!

I was the photographer at a church conference in March and took a photo of Matthew talking with a friend that I staged. I texted it to him saying, "totally natural! nothing posed at all!" From there, we started talking and had our first date not long after. I was nominated for an award at the Moody's at PBA and through the matchmaking of our friends, Macy and Varradi, Matthew went to the event with me as my date. We officially began dating after a few weeks. Our favorite dates are mini golfing, playing pickle ball, going to the beach, watching movies, crushing Matthew in Cribbage, dinner dates, and double dates with friends. The Lord made it evident throughout our relationship that we could see a future together serving Him.

On March 1, 2024, Matthew put together the sweetest (stressful if you ask him) proposal and asked me to marry him. We celebrated with friends and family afterward where they prayed for us, our season of engagement, and future marriage. It was the most perfect day and we are so excited to start a life together and continue to honor and glorify the Lord through our ministry together!
