It all began when Craig started coming around Lindsay's cubicle at work. The more they talked, bonded over the love of the mountains and musicals, and laughed with each other, the more it was obvious that neither of them were going anywhere. They started dating and having a blast with each other. While they went through some tough times together, they ended up coming out of those times stronger than ever.

They started going on trips, with the first one being to North Carolina, a place that will always have a piece of their hearts. After that, many more vacations followed, to include Key West, Georgia, Arizona, Virginia, California to see Lindsay's sister Kelly, Montana, and the most recent being Mexico (which we will get to shortly!). It is their hope to see as many National Parks as possible over their life, to add to those they already visited. Once Lindsay adopted her dog Robin (an equal love of her life), she went on trips with them as well.

In addition to traveling together, Craig and Lindsay enjoy trying new (vegetarian-friendly) restaurants and bars wherever they go, as well as all of the local Central Florida breweries (they have almost been to them all!).

So, back to Mexico. Picture it, a hot sweaty June 2023 day full of sun, a lazy river, and a swim up bar that was visited often.

Craig: nervous that they had taken too many shots that day to make it to a nice "date night" set up on the beach.

Lindsay: hungry and ready to keep the party going.

They arrive at the beach, which had been setup beautifully with flower petals leading to a romantic dinner for two overlooking the ancient ruins on the resort's property.

Craig: not so subtly handing his phone to an employee to "just take nice photos of the date".

Lindsay: starting to sweat with excitement.

After the appetizer plates were taken away, Craig proposed in a wonderfully heartfelt way (Lindsay assumes, since through all of the nerves and excitement, she kind of just remembers Craig's face and knew it was all beautiful things he was saying), and Lindsay happily said yes!

They cannot wait to spend their lives together creating a family, cracking each other up, and being each other's best friends.
