I met Clay on Bumble after posting "just looking for someone to help me build a shotski." He promptly replied and a first date was set! We met at Lefthand Brewing in Longmont which has become a favorite for us over the years. I remember Clay talking a lot about skiing, helicopters and scuba diving. If you know clay, this is all so true to his personality - he only omitted his obsession with board games. On our second date, Clay had not only helped me to remove the ski binding on my old K2s for the shot ski, but he had already started 3D printing holders for both shot glasses and solo cups - he was committed to the project and I was already sold on him. The next year of dating included a lot of skiing, hiking, sushi and breweries. When covid shut us down a year later, Clay and I got to know each other even better over many a movie, board game or pizza making night. I got to know Clay as a loving, kind and smart man who would truly do anything for me. It was during the first shutdown in March that we decided when it was all over (lol) we would go on a big trip to Iceland. By the time we got to that trip another 2 years later, Clay proposed! In the end, I met my best friend and life partner AND I got a really cool shotski ;)

Lindsay and I first met online; she was a fan of sushi and in search of&nbsp;someone to help her build a shot ski, which was all I needed to hear.&nbsp;While it&nbsp;took awhile to finally meet (a couple canceled dates due to sickness and formidable Colorado winter weather), we finally had wonderful first date at&nbsp;left hand brewery.&nbsp;Fast forward several years and dozens of skiing and backpacking trips, and I was confident I'd found my lifelong adventure partner.&nbsp;Luckily enough for me she felt the same, and at the top of a particularly stunning waterfall&nbsp;along a scenic hiking trail in Iceland she agreed to be my wife.&nbsp;I am so happy to have spent the time I have with Lindsay, and so very excited to spend the rest of my life with someone as fun, ambitious, and excited for life as she.&nbsp;We are both&nbsp;so delighted to have everyone to share in this special point in our relationship, and excited to see everyone at the wedding!

To get a room within the group block, call 303-526-2000 and ask for “Reservations”. Please tell reservations that you wish to make a reservation for the Valentine-Rowledge group! :)

Transportation will be provided to and from the Comfort Suites in Evergreen to the wedding venue so you can safely and leisurely enjoy our ceremony and reception. Shuttles will leave the hotel for the venue at 3:45pm with returning shuttles at 9pm, 10pm and 11pm.

(Formerly Mt. Evans) Drive the highest paved road in North America! The road opens at the end of May depending on the snowpack for the year and you'll need to reserve tickets for this in advance. Be sure to ask Al how he liked the drive! ;)
