Well, I finally got my life together and moved into a new place in the M-streets ready to have fun with friends, hopefully go on some dates and enjoy all that Lower Greenville had to offer... then 3 weeks later the world shut down. Everyone knows the story - Get your life together and then the world ends...... ;p

I had MANY Zoom happy hours and lots and lots of dog walks through the M-streets/Lower Greenville. In May finally some neighborhood places opened back up, and I decide I need to start making an effort to date (Why not, its a global pandemic?!?!). Tim & I connected on the dating app, Hinge, and decided to meet up at HG Supply, I might have been a tipsy chatter-box..... but I guess he didn't mind and the date kept going... We made it to The Old Crow and then Greenville Ave Pizza Co. From then on we pretty much were glued together, plus the best third-wheel ever, Keelee, of course.

From Tim:

"It was raining women and I went on A LOT of dates and walking dates during lockdown." HAHA! I told Lindsay that one day and she likes to remind me I said that from time to time.

Truth be told I was coming out of a "breather" in life and was seriously ready to find my life partner. It was definitely frustrating with lockdown and the world wanting to end it seemed. Dating apps are a racket, but with it being increasingly difficult to meet people I really had no choice but to have fun with it.

Lindsay and I connected and after exchanging a few texts on the app I got Lindsay's number and we planned a date at HG Supply. Even on the app I knew there was something different about Lindsay and I couldn't wait to see if we had a connection in person. As soon as I saw her appear out of the corner of my eye we immediately started talking like we've known each other for years. We walked upstairs and sat down and almost right away a huge bug appeared and freaked out Lindsay and everyone that was sitting around us. Me growing up in the sticks didn't think anything of it and just kind of watched it land on me. Lindsay immediately started trying to brush it off of me and she succeeded as I was able to expose of it so everyone could get back to their seats.

After that and as the date continued I could just tell there was a special genuineness to her that is rare - not to mention she has this rocking soccer body going on that I love! I barely spoke and just enjoyed listening to her talk about her life and family that she loves dearly. We share a lot of things in common including loving to have a great time so we kept the party going and went to the "Old Crow" and watched "Varsity Blues" and quoted just about every line. After that it was getting late and ended up walking to Greenville Avenue Pizza.

It was the best date I've ever been on and after that we've been inseparable ever since. The good Lord is good all the time and in his perfect timing joined us together after a lot of praying and preparation for her. I can't wait to see what He has in store for our future!!
