Wedding Party

We know Provence isn’t the easiest destination to reach, but trust us—it’s worth the journey! We’re so grateful to all of you for making the effort to join us in one of our favorite places. The closest airport is Marseille Provence (MRS), located less than an hour from Lourmarin. Most international flights connect through another major European city before arriving in Marseille. You can also travel via the Avignon TGV station, which is about 3 hours from Paris on the high-speed train and just under one hour from Lourmarin. Whether you choose to arrive by plane or train, you’ll be surrounded by the beauty of Provence in no time!

Getting There

We recommend booking Le Moulin, which is a 5 minute walk to the wedding venue (and owned by the same group). Accommodations

WeddingLadies: Think garden-party elegance! Dresses of any length – mini, midi, or maxi – in pastels, soft florals, or bold summer colors are perfect. Go for soft fabrics, pretty colors, and footwear that works on grass (and is comfy enough for dancing!). The ceremony and dinner will be outdoors, and evenings may be cool, so a light scarf or shawl is a smart idea.Gents: Light suits or a blazer with tailored trousers are ideal. Both soft shades like beige, sage, or sky blue and classic suit colors are perfect choices. Ties are welcome but not required.---------------------------------------------------------Welcome DinnerLadies: Casual-chic cocktail attire is perfect! Dresses, skirts, or separates all work. Flats, sandals, wedges, or block heels are recommended for cobblestones and grass. The event is outdoors, so bringing a light layer or scarf is a good idea.Gents: Smart-casual is the way to go. Lightweight trousers with a button-down shirt or polo are great. Blazers are optional, ties are not needed.

Dress Code

Lourmarin is considered one of the most beautiful villages in France, boasting endless Provençal charm and is just a short two-minute walk from the wedding venue. This is a perfect place to stroll through French cafes, boutiques, antique shops, and art galleries.

 Provençal Market Days

Provence is famous for its weekly markets, with each village showcasing its unique charm on different days of the week. Vendors gather in the village center to sell all things Francais, including cheese, bread, lavender, art, baskets, linens, soaps and more. Make sure you bring an extra suitcase! Markets usually open early in the morning and close midday.

Cycling

We fell in love with Provence on our bikes- cycling through villages, vineyards, chateaus and endless lavender fields. Our trip last summer was extra special when Scott proposed at the top of Mont Ventoux Don’t worry, cycling is not a mandatory part of the wedding (although we did consider it!)
