Mike planned a beautiful friends and family filled proposal on 4/13/2024. Lindsey arrived at Marshbank park expecting to skip rocks and play volleyball with Mike and the kids as they often do. Instead she was surprised with their closest family and friends. At just the right moment Maddy unzipped her jacket to reveal a shirt that said "Will". Alex then revealed his shirt that said "you" and Mike dropped to one knee to reveal a shirt that said "Marry me?" Mike then shared about the ring that had been her grandmother's and had been restored and inscribed with Isaiah 43:19 "Behold I will do a new thing...". The ring is cast as a chord of 3 strands that is not easily broken.

Maddy and Alex helped plan the whole day and pick out the shirts, ring design etc .
