Alex and I met in high school after a mutual friend asked us to attend Sweet 16 party together so he would not be alone. Neither of us were interested, but decided it couldn't be that bad. We agreed to talk to get to know one another. Later on, we decided it would probably be best if we met one another in person and hung out before we just showed up at sweet 16. Of course a fancy date was not for us, instead we went deer hunting. I can remember trying to find the "perfect" camo and being so nervous. Still to this day I have never smiled and laughed more than I did that day in the deer stand with him. From that day forward I had a good feeling about him. Months passed and he FINALLY asked me to be his girlfriend. We have been there for one another through so many milestones, so many fun times, but also been one another's shoulder to cry on on the hard days. We are so excited to spend forever together!!
