Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?
Yes! The ceremony and reception will be held at our venue, 128 South!
Is the venue indoor or outdoor?
The ceremony is outdoors on a covered deck overlooking downtown Wilmington and the water! However, there will be heaters if the forecast is predicting cold weather the day of! The cocktail hour and reception will mostly likely both be indoors at the venue.
Is There A Dress Code?
Yes! We are asking our guests to dress up with us in cocktail attire! We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing colors reserved for the bride-cream, ivory, or white.
Can I Bring A Plus One/Additional guests?
Due to limited capacity at our venue, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us! We want to spend time and celebrate with our closest friends and family and are so excited for our special day!
Can I Bring My Children?
This will be an adults/young adults event only unless specified on your invitation. Even though we LOVE kids, there will not be any accommodations, activities, meals, music, etc. for little ones. We want this night to be an intimate, romantic, memorable and fun night…especially the cocktail hour and reception! We encourage you to use this as an excuse for a romantic date night out without the kiddos!
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask our guests to put their phones away and on silent during the ceremony. We have an amazing photographer and will absolutely share our photos with you! Plus, we want you to also enjoy your experience and be present with us during our special ceremony! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin punctually at 4:00 in the evening. Please arrive no later than 3:45pm or you sadly won't be able to enter :(
Will there be an open bar?
There will not be an open bar, however we will have free, curated cocktails for all guests over 21! The bar will be fully stocked and guests may purchase any additional drinks they would like!
When should I RSVP by?
To help us with our planning, we ask that you kindly RSVP online by November 13, 2025. If you are able to RSVP even earlier than that, it would be awesome!
If we don't receive your RSVP by the date specified, we cannot make any exceptions and will have to mark you down as a "no". We need to provide the venue and caterers with a total guest count in a timely manner. We want to make sure there is enough food/drink and fun for everyone joining! We hope you can understand.
How Do I RSVP?
Enclosed in your mail invitations will contain you and your party’s (if applicable) invitation(s). Included will be a QR code which will lead you to our RSVP portal through The Knot, which we can view in real time. If you have any questions or issues with RSVPing, please reach out to either of us!
How Do I access the Wedding Registry?
Our registry can be found on our wedding website under the “Registry” tab for guests who would like to purchase something for us. We don’t have much on the registry as we don’t need many things as we have been living together for an while and don’t have a huge desire/need for material items. For those who would rather not purchase a physical gift or if all gifts have been purchased already (the website will say purchased under each item already bought), we did set up a first home fund as our main goal is to buy a home together in the near future! For those who choose to buy a gift from the registry, you can bring it to the ceremony if you’d like, or there is an option through the registry website to ship it directly to us to make it easier for you.
I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?
The city has an abundance of hotel & AirBnbs to choose from! We recommend staying anywhere in the Wilmington area or if you're willing to drive about 30-40 minutes Southport, NC is beautiful. See the "travel" tab on our website for more popular options!
