<ul><li>Lindsey was born in Saint Peters, MO, on September 28, 1990, to Dan and Elaine Schmucker. </li> <li>Being the youngest of 6 girls, Lindsey grew up in a very busy household. </li> <li>Lindsey attended St. Dominic High School in O'Fallon, MO where she played soccer and basketball all four years.</li> <li>After high school, Lindsey attended Missouri S&amp;T (Formerly known as University of Missouri – Rolla) in Rolla, MO, where she played soccer her freshmen and sophomore year and completed her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering.</li> <li>Lindsey is currently employed as an environmental and safety specialist for Virbac located in Bridgeton, MO.</li></ul>

Lindsey Marie Schmucker

<ul><li>Mason was born in Naperville, IL, on July 24, 1992, to Brian and Kim Brown</li> <li>At two years old, Mason moved with his family from Naperville to Corsicana, Texas, where his younger sister, Kayla, was born.</li> <li>Two years later, the Brown family moved to Collierville, TN, and remained there for the next 20 years.</li> <li>After graduating from Collierville High School in 2010, Mason attended Missouri S&amp;T where he met the love of his life and completed his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. </li> <li>While at Missouri S&amp;T, Mason was very involved on campus organizations and in his fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha. </li> <li>Mason is currently employed as a Mechanical Engineer in the energy division for Burns and McDonnell located in Chesterfield, MO.</li></ul>

Mason Alexander Brown

Lindsey started her freshman year at Missouri S&amp;T in the fall of 2009, and Mason started his in the fall of 2010. Even with Missouri S&amp;T's small campus size, they did not meet until Lindsey's last semester in March 2014 during the annual St. Pat's celebration. For those who have never been to Rolla, St. Pat's is a huge week-long celebration for the University during the month of March. Lindsey and Mason met at the kick-off party for the week-long celebration at one of the nicest fraternity houses on campus, Tau Kappa Epsilon (for those who attended Rolla, that joke was for you). After that night, there was an instant connection between Lindsey and Mason. Even after Lindsey's graduation in May 2014 and a long-distance job in Midland, TX, the two remained inseparable and further confirmed to themselves that it was meant to be.

How We Met 

Lindsey and Mason were spending a weekend in Dallas, TX, in August 2015. After their tour of the John F. Kennedy Museum, Mason surprised Lindsey by taking her to Five Sixty at Reunion Tower, an elegant revolving restaurant that overlooks the city. After their dinner was over and Mason drank enough wine to give him the courage he needed, he got on one knee, and the rest is history.

The Proposal 

Now, Lindsey and Mason live together in Creve Coeur, MO. Their attention towards each other is consistently stolen by their two kittens, Graham and Garfield. In their free time, you will find Mason and Lindsey watching Netflix documentaries, attending cardinal baseball games, entertaining Graham and Garfield, or strolling through Creve Coeur Park.
