Our Wedding

Where do we even start? Sam and I officially met at a New Years Eve party on 12/31/2017 (even though Sam tried to get to know me before then—sorry, Sam)! On the very first night we met, he even introduced me to his parents over FaceTime! We started dating just two weeks later, on 1/19/2018, and spent the last year and a half of college nearly inseparable. After graduation, we both decided to live at home to save money, but made it a point to visit each other every weekend, alternating between Cincinnati and Louisville. Fast forward to June 2022—Sam received an incredible job offer in Des Moines, IA (and yes, we had to look up where Iowa was). We packed up and moved there two weeks later. Since then, our love for each other has only continued to grow. In August 2023, we adopted our sweet and wild cat, Poppi! Then in November 2023, we headed to Cincinnati for Thanksgiving, and little did I know, Sam was planning to propose to me on November 24, 2023, overlooking the city. We are absolutely over the moon and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together!

This year, Oktoberfest Zinzinnati® will be held September 18-21, 2025 at Sawyer Point Park and Yeatman’s Cove on the banks of the Ohio River. The festival is free.

If you see yourself in Cincinnati the day before our wedding there is a Cincinnati Reds vs Cubs game at 6:40 pm on September 19, 2025.

Sam and I’s favorite italian restaurant! It is hard to get reservations but they book 121 days out. They are on open table but they may have more availability if you call.

Things To Do

Please book your hotel room no later than August 20, 2025. There will be a single shuttle departing from The Westin to the wedding ceremony at The Pinecroft, leaving promptly at 4:40 PM.&nbsp;The shuttle will also return guests back to The Westin on an hourly basis.

The Netherland Plaza is next door to the Westin. We will have a shuttle to take guests from the Westin to the Pinecroft. The shuttle will also return guests back to the Westin after the wedding. More details coming soon.
