Is there parking available near the venue?
Yes, there is available parking within walking distance of the venue. We will have directional signage indicating where to park.
Will the wedding be held indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The reception and dinner will be held under a tent with outdoor space heaters. Weather in December can be fairly unpredictable so please dress accordingly. We will provide outdoor space heaters.
Is there a dress code for the wedding?
We encourage you to dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire. We also encourage you dress warm and well equipped for the time of the year as weather permits.
What is the weather like in the area?
Virginia weather is unpredictable. Mother nature may bring us a sun-shiny, 70 degree day or it may be rainy and 40 degrees. If weather permits, the venue will welcome us to enjoy the ceremony under the tent. Please stay informed and flexible!
Am I able to bring a plus-one?
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can't afford for all of our guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
Am I able to bring my children?
Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding party at our reception. We appreciate your understanding!
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! Cash tips for the bartenders are more than welcome.
Will there be options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Our wedding will be catered by Pelican Pete's Pizza Food truck. There will be hors d'oeuvres served during cocktail hour and Salad and a pizza buffet for the main course. Please visit the truck's window if you have any specific restrictions.
Is there a group rate for any hotels in the area?
We currently do not have any reserved blocks for our wedding; however, we have listed a few hotels in the Chesapeake/Norfolk area. Hotels in Virginia Beach would tend to be further in distance, but maybe more cost effective because of the off season.
