When interviewing for a school counselor, Lindsey looked at a resume for Andrew Sheehan and noticed they had a lot in common (same age, grew up in the area, lived in Saratoga). Everyone joked that he was going to be her husband one day. Luckily for both of them, he got the job! They were coworkers who quickly turned into good friends. Years of friendship later, they finally decided to grab margaritas, just the two of them, after school for Cinco De Mayo. The next week, Andrew picked Lindsey up in his jeep to go on their first “official” date. After that date, they quickly fell in love and the rest is history!

The Proposal
Andrew asked Lindsey to go to the Galway Rock Winery (right by their house). When arriving, Lindsey noticed one of their shared student’s mom was working there. After a glass of wine, Lindsey noticed their student come into the winery. She was about to ask him why he was so dressed up. He was wearing a little suit jacket and bow tie. He pulled out a ring box and said “Mr. Sheehan, I think youre going to need this”. Then their song (Simply the Best by Noah Reid) started playing at the winery. Andrew got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! They were so excited that they forgot to put the ring on for the first few minutes. They called some friends and they dropped everything to meet them at the Speckled Pig Brewery to share in the big news.
