Lindsey and Tyler met in high school. The two were in separate classes throughout, so in passing or through sports is when we guess the first interaction would have occurred. The pair briefly dated in 10th grade, which Lindsey remembers very well. She actually went to prom with one of her sister's friends and asked to be dropped off to hang out with her boyfriend at the time after (Tyler) ha! The two dated for awhile and like most high school relationships, they broke up only to keep in contact for the next few years.

Tyler went to Auburn, and Lindsey attended Point just 30 minutes down the road, so there were a few party invitations and interactions during that period although the two remained just friends. During this time, Chris (Tyler's Mom) accidentally texted Lindsey about coming to a Family Dinner -Lindsey, knowing it was an odd coincidence (Tyler had a girlfriend at the time who the text was clearly meant for haha) , likes to think it was just a little sign of what was meant to be!

Shortly into this time period, Kate & Arron Rogers got married. This was a short and sweet weekend for the couple and basically a highschool reunion. Lindsey & Tyler hit it off but, timing was not right. The two remained friends and went about their normal lives in their own spaces.

Fast forward, Lindsey transferred colleges and went to Ohio. Tyler remained in Auburn and began working towards his goal of running his own company! During this time, one of our mutual friends were getting married and Lindsey was dateless. Thanks to Megan Alford, Lindsey worked up the courage to ask Tyler to come as her friend date! Shout out Joanne & Michael Boyette for getting hitched! After the wedding, Lindsey flew back to OH and Tyler went back to Auburn, staying in contact as friends. It was actually several months later that Tyler was traveling with his family to Dayton, OH for a family reunion.

He reached out to Lindsey knowing she was in Cincinnati. In true fashion, Lindsey was hosting a wedding bar crawl for close friends and was again flying solo. Of course, without hesitation the plans were set that Tyler would meet Lindsey at the celebration as her friend date again. Since then, the rest is history. The pair quickly entered a long distance relationship that had Tyler traveling to OH and Lindsey back to GA every couple weeks. Between traveling, hiking, camping, family and friend celebrations, and various events it was decided Lindsey would move back to Georgia and the two would be together.

If you ask, Lindsey would say she knew something was special about Tyler from the days they met in highschool. I think I have been referring to Tyler as my husband semi jokingly since 10th grade. Tyler would say he's known the whole time that it was Lindsey.

Tyler proposed to Lindsey on November 9th, 2024. It was the best day yet! Now here we are, waiting for our wedding day as we reflect on all of our memories and ways our story has been woven together. We are so excited to share this special celebration with you.
