First, visit the pool to reserve a cabana (can be reserved up to 24 hours in advance - $70 for the day which includes foot massages and full service) or save yourself some chairs on the beach or pool. Then, grab some breakfast at the Siete buffet - Our favorite stations are the smoothie and omelette bars.
Spend the day rotating between the cabana, the pool & the beach - Lindsey with a book & Campbell re-applying sunscreen. When it's time for lunch, head over to Sea Corner (off the left of the pool) for a fresh meal of ceviche, fish tacos and guacamole. The swim up bar is a great place to spend the afternoon.
After catching the sunset, head to the Hidden Garden for dinner. Despite the name, it's definitely one of the resort's most popular all-inclusive options and we're not surprised! Don't miss the sake-ritas & pad thai. We recommend going on the early side (around 6) to avoid or wait or putting down a name and heading to the sushi bar for a quick snack.
End the night in one of the resort bars or a late-night walk on the beach. In the hotel bars, tips go a long way!
If you want to leave the resort for a nice & fun dinner, try our favorite restaurant in Cancun! Who can say no to ocean views, table side preparation and churro carts for dessert? We recommend ordering an Adelita (their specialty cocktail) and the table side grilled steak or shrimp.
Harry's is Porfirio's more elegant big sister (and neighbor). If you're looking for a more traditional steakhouse, still with perfect ocean views, Harry's is your spot.
Our recommendation is to take the ferry across and then create your own adventure by renting a golf cart and exploring the island. If desired, there are also organized snorkle trips that take you to and from Isla Mujeres
Campbell's favorite and go-to activity... While it's part of a tour, each pair gets their own mini speed boat to drive through the mangrove channels with a snorkeling break in the middle
