This story starts many years back in a junior year history class at the Landmark School.
Only a couple seats apart sat Lindsey and Kyle in History class. Sometimes Lindsey would say “hi” and Kyle wouldn’t even respond - which she thought was rude, but come to find out she was just on the wrong side of his hearing!
Luckily we had in common a friend (still to this day), LB, who in the back of his mind knew we could be a match. In the summer of 2014 - after graduating from Landmark and with the help of LB, Kyle built the courage to act on his feelings for Lindsey and asked her on a date.
On our first date, Kyle made a long trip from Wrentham to Peabody for a night out with Lindsey, watching 4th of July fireworks over Kings Beach in Swampscott, and taking her out for a movie.
Over the next few years, we continued to go on several more first dates, reconnecting again and again through some kind of fate, but it had not stuck until October of 2020. For a fourth, and final first date, Kyle took Lindsey on his motorcycle, giving her a thrill she couldn’t imagine. Normally, Lindsey wouldn’t be one to hop on for a ride, but something about Kyle made her feel safe.
Finally, sparks begin to fly, kind of like the 4th of July fireworks all those years ago. Those sparks would turn into countless more dates, then living side by side, and soon becoming one another’s other half.
On March 11, 2023, high in the mountains in Lincoln, NH, Kyle proposed to Lindsey. Their friends, Katy and Clay, were there to witness this very special occasion.
On May 4th, 2024, we exchanged vows and said “I DO” in an intimate ceremony in Lincoln, NH. To make it extra special, Lindsey’s grandparents, John and Rose, officiated the wedding service. What a memorable time that was.
Now we want to celebrate our marriage with all of the family and friends we hold dear by hosting a “Happily Ever After Celebration”. We cannot wait to see you all on September 14th!
