Lindsey and Jeremy pride themselves in being a dating app success story! They “matched” on the dating app, Hinge, in February 2020. The two of them instantly hit it off, and after a few days of chatting over the app, Jeremy finally gained the courage to ask Lindsey on a first date to a super sketchy Mexican restaurant in the middle of nowhere. The couple still jokes about the location of this restaurant, but swears it was some of the best food they have ever had!

After just a couple of dates, Jeremy and Lindsey bonded over their deep love for their family, friends, careers, the lake, and their desire to put the Lord first in everything they did. They quickly became best friends, and it all just made sense. They were supposed to be together.

When the couple began talking about their future together, Lindsey swore that there was NO WAY that Jeremy could pull off a surprise engagement (And those who know her agreed; if there is a way to find out about a secret, Lindsey WILL find out some way, somehow…) Jeremy took this as a challenge, and boy did he exceed all expectations! He made sure to plan out every detail and get nearly every person in contact with Lindsey in on the surprise. Her friends that were part of the plan even committed to leaving their phones at home all weekend, just so that Lindsey wouldn’t find out that they were in town. There just HAD to be an elaborate plan in order to make this happen successfully! After over a month of planning, Jeremy completely surprised Lindsey with the most beautiful proposal on the top of Bell Mountain in Hiawassee, GA -- a place that has been special to them throughout their entire relationship. Lindsey was in awe that he exceeded her expectations without her having any idea that it was happening, up until the moment he got down on one knee.

The happy couple is so excited to continue their lives together and build a future together! Here’s to forever!
