Ceremony venue is standing only! There is also construction on Cuyahoga Street. You will need to come from the North Akron side of the park, NOT the Cuyahoga Fall side. There are Road Closed signs, but you are able to get up to the park. The road is VERY rough! We recommend carpooling! There will be signs once you turn into the Chuckery Trail to direct you to the correct trailhead (the Signal Tree!).

Shuttles from the Holiday Inn in Wadsworth to the reception site start at 5 and go to 7. The return shuttles run from 9:30-11:30.

Doors open for reception at 5:45!

Directions to Ceremony Site

If using Google Maps, type in “Indian Signal Tree.” This should get you exactly where you want to go. We suggest leaving 30-35 minutes for travel time to account for traffic.

1. Get onto I-76 E toward Youngstown

2. Stay on I-76 until exit 21C for OH-59 E toward downtown

3. Continue on OH-59 until Howard Street

4. Turn left on Howard Street

5. Turn left on Cuyahoga Street

6. Stay straight on Cuyahoga Street. You will dead end at the park entrance. Turn right

7. Stay on this road until you see the sign directing you to the left!

8. You have arrived!

***You will encounter road closed signs on Cuyahoga Street. You can go around them to get to the park. The park is on your right (Cascade Valley Metro Park sign).***

Directions back to Hotel for Shuttle

If using Google Maps, type in “Holiday Inn Wadsworth. This will take you a different way than you came, as there is construction on I-76. We suggest allowing 30-35 minutes for travel time.

1. From the park road, take a left onto Cuyahoga Street.

2. Turn left onto Howard Street

3. Turn right onto Glenwood Avenue (very soon after turning left!!!)

4. Take Glenwood Avenue to Route 8 South.

5. Stay on Route 8 South- this will connect with I-77 South.

6. Stay on I-77 South until you see signs for US-224 toward Barberton.

7. US-224 will turn into I-76 W (stay in left two lanes to go straight!)

8. Take exit 9 for OH-94, turn right.

9. Turn right onto Park Center Drive!

***The Shuttle will take passengers from 5:00-7:00! Be sure to take advantage of this to avoid driving! Shuttles will leave as they fill up!***
