Our Wedding

Aron and I met in a very new age way, on the Facebook dating app. It became clear that the conversations were very easy for us and we finally shared a burger together at Twisted Root in Lubbock on October 15, 2023. Even Tessa was on the first date to make her decision on her new “momma”. We had many things in common and personalities aligned well. It was the best first date and we made it official not long afterwards. We kept the road hot since he lived in Snyder and I lived in Lubbock, but we both made time for each other. Early on, we both said that this relationship seemed different and felt how we always imagined a lasting relationship should feel. I started to join in on his interests with golfing, fishing, and truck shows, while he was always game to run to Hobby Lobby and let me take him to the corn maze. We both enjoyed spending as much time as we could together. Meeting both sides of the families were easy and everyone seemed to get along. We shared many road trips and fun dates together along the way; we went to Ruidoso for a birthday trip, we went to a truck show at Texas Motor Speedway, we attended multiple weddings together, many lake trips together, carving pumpkins and lots of family dinners. We also love just simple Target runs together. We find the happiness in everything and can always make each other laugh with whatever we are doing. In July, we flew to Miami to start a cruise with his family and had an outdoor dinner before getting on the ship the next morning. We both were enjoying lounging on the ocean and attending shows on the ship. The excursions on our port days were also great and we loved making memories in all the new places. It was a very magical trip already, but Aron decided to surprise me with a proposal to make it even better on July 30, 2024! I mean what a great proposal story, how could you ask for better. We ended up staying an extra night in Miami and enjoyed walking around through the shops. One of our Uber drivers suggested this place to eat and let me tell you, Best.Food.Ever. The cruise is one of those trips that will forever be a core memory for us!
