Lindsey’s side: Contrary to popular belief and despite having both graduated undergrad from OU in 2015, Cameron and I didn’t meet until 2018. I was at the Houston Rodeo with a group of my friends and Cameron was entertaining some PWC interns. Once he sent the interns home, he went to meet up with a mutual friend of ours, Garrett Jones who was with our group at the wine garden. I had seen Cameron come around a few times, but it wasn’t until this night at the wine garden when I really met and talked to Cameron. I was sitting at the end of a long table while some creepy guys were trying to hit on a few of my friends. Garrett, who was on the other end of the table, asked if I wanted to trade seats with him. Phew! What a sigh of relief, I thought. Garrett wanted me to get away from the creepy guys!! I gladly took him up on his offer and was seated right next to Cameron. (Little did I know he was trying to set me up with Cameron the whole time. But it’s ok I forgive him). I immediately remember feeling so comfortable with Cameron and we talked the rest of the night until it was time to go home. I got his number and texted him the next day asking him when we were going to hang out again. He proceeded to invite me over for a steak dinner that weekend. Nice touch! Our second date he took me to a Garth Brooks concert and I'm pretty sure there were some sparks flying during the duet he did with Trisha Yearwood. We ended up starting to date a few short months later and the rest is history!
