We met at Zach's current and my future small group's super bowl/Zach's birthday celebration February of 2021. We did not talk but I remember meeting him and he (claims) that he did not meet me!

A friend of mine and I made a comment to Zach one small group in March about his crocs. We decided the next Thursday we would all wear crocs. Naturally, she and I went to the mall and bought some because I did not own any. I then sent Zach a picture of us over GroupMe simply saying "Crocs Thursday." I still have the screenshot I took from the day he responded.

Fast forward to November of 2021 now in separate small groups. They did a combined Thanksgiving celebration and I was trying to get Zach to participate in church events. I told him to go to a Christmas movie the church was doing. Being smart knowing I did not have his number he said, "Text me the details." The picture shows the rest.

After the Christmas party, which Zach did go to, we started hanging out more and more. Zach taught me how to play pickleball and one of those days he said the classic "whoever loses buys dinner." I lost and where did I take him? Chuys. We continued to play pickleball, do game nights, and spend time together.

Our first date was May 6, 2022 and Zach officially asked me to be his girlfriend at Depot Park on August 8, 2022. He had written my name and will you be my girlfriend in chalk earlier but it had washed away. So he had to improvise! He made me walk half a mile around a pond in the OPPOSITE direction while he rewrote it. I said yes!
