Tyler and I met in 2016 when I was working part-time through school at Harley-Davidson of WV. Yes, a motorcycle shop! LOL. Tyler came in to purchase a bike and I immediately noticed him when he walked inside of the dealership. Lucky for me, I found out his name when I got to help him pick out some riding gear to go along with his bike. It was short and sweet and nothing came of it. However, I never forgot his name.
Fast forward to March of 2019 - Copper Pint Pub in Charleston, WV. I had gone out with some friends to a local bar and saw Tyler. My cousin Amanda encouraged me to walk up and talk to him. With a little liquid courage, I did exactly that. Tyler and I sat and talked for hours after that, almost like we had known each other our whole lives. I didn’t want that night to end. We exchanged numbers, went on our first date at our favorite restaurant “Fazios” and the rest is history. Who says you can’t find love in a bar?!
It didn't take long for me to realize that Tyler was someone special and that I’d marry him one day. Over the last several years together, we have started to build our beautiful life with each other and our two cats, Stewart and Kitty. It’s funny to look back at your life and the decisions you made that led you to where you are today. Tyler and I are forever grateful for the roads we took, or didn’t take, that led us to one another.
God has blessed us in so many ways throughout our lives and I’m so excited to see our love story continue to unfold.
