During a surprise visit home to the family in California, Lindsey decided to take Hunter to his first visit to Monterey Bay for a day trip. Everything seemed completely normal until Hunter decided to take a detour on the drive to the aquarium . We drove past the anticipated location, drove for awhile, and ended up at Point Lobos State Natural Park. Upon arrival, we pulled into a hiking trailhead that neither of them were dressed for. They walked for what Lindsey felt like hours until they came to a beautiful corner on one of the trails nestled near a private beach. Hunter asked Lindsey to take a selfie of them on her phone in front of the beautiful spot and when she turned around he was on one knee. Of course she said YES!
