Is transportation provided to the ceremony/reception?

Yes!! Buses will be picking people up at Hotel Monteleone at 4:00 pm before the ceremony. Those buses will pick up everyone after the ceremony to take them to the reception venue.

What is formal attire?

For women: floor-length or tea-length dresses

For men: Suit and tie, suit, or a jacket with slacks.

Are children allowed?

While we love your little ones, this is strictly an adults-only occasion.

Is everyone invited to the welcome party at Tableau?

Absolutely! Please come and have a good time!

No, but if you are staying in the French Quarter or anywhere nearby, it is a short walk!

What is the attire for the welcome party?

Dressy casual. For women that means a dress, skirt, nice pants/jeans, and a dressy top. For men that means a dress shirt, casual button-down shirt, open-collar, or polo shirt.

Are the buses only picking people up at Hotel Monteleone?

Yes. If we make any changes depending on where the majority of people are staying, we will be sure to update everyone.

Will this be a traditional seated dinner?

No, we'll be having a New Orleans-style cocktail reception with hearty, cold, and hot, passed hors d'oeuvres, action stations, and buffets. For dessert, we will have the wedding cake and an ice cream bar.

Will there be assigned seats for the reception?

No, since this is a New Orleans-style cocktail reception, there are no assigned seats, just open seating. However, we will have some reserved tables for select family members.
