This mountain spa features an idyllic setting right off of the picturesque Ponderosa Pine Scenic Route, just a mile outside of Idaho City. The property is split into two parts: The Main Area, with a communal pool, and the Private Soak areas. Each area requires its own reservation, so be sure to reserve for both areas. The location also features a sauna.

Poolside servers are available during your scheduled soaking time as well as a limited menu of food, beer, and wine. While outside food is prohibited, there is a serene picnic area right outside of the spa. The Springs also implements temperature control on especially hot days, allowing the water to be the perfect temperature to beat the heat. Free water is provided at poolside locations.

While there are designated family times on the weekends, the resort is mainly open for guests 18 and older.

Typically, the trail offers about a 2 hour hiking experience. What’s more, the end of the Charcoal Gulch Trail connects to a series of other hiking paths, allowing you to lengthen your hike if you want.
