Our paths first crossed in the Air Force. Working together every day and making jokes, (like how short the other is), eventually grew into a strong friendship. Months went by and Lindsey wondered if Logan would ever make the first move. Lindsey stopped wondering and initiated the first date. After many dates and meeting each other’s families, Logan asked Lindsey to be his girlfriend on July 4, 2021. After our deployment and being on opposite shifts for three months, in 2022 we decided to take the next step and move in together, to an apartment in Madison. It was great living near work and school, but we knew it wasn’t long term. In July of 2023, we moved to Edgerton, Wi, into our first home to rent and eventually buy. A few weeks later, we took a little trip with a few of our good friends up north. We went to a beautiful winery and had a private tour of the vineyard and creek. This is where Logan got down on one knee and asked Lindsey to spend the rest of her life with him. She asked if he was serious and said, YES!
