After both of us having experienced the ups and downs of marriage before, we didn’t think we'd find love again. But life had other plans.

We met (not-so-accidentally) and decided to take a chance on each other. Our first date? A casual dinner at Marquee (now one of our favorite places to grab a bite to eat) that turned into hours of conversation and laughter. We quickly realized we had more in common than we ever expected—and just like that, we were hooked. That dinner turned into more dinners, more weekends, and soon enough, we were spending every moment together, just the way we always dreamed love could feel.

After a few months, we realized that life was too short not to take the next step and that living over 2 hours apart was too much. So, we moved in together, bringing all our quirks and imperfectly perfect moments into one shared space. We knew that if we could make it through a summer of multiple moves (Lindsey's classroom, her apartment, his apartment, back into another classroom) that we could make it through anything!

On July 6, 2024, we made it official with an engagement, because what better way to start a new chapter than by saying "I do" to this second chance at happiness? We’re not just writing a new story; we’re creating a whole new adventure together as best friends, filled with laughter, love, and everything that makes life beautiful.

Here’s to second chances and the love we never saw coming—but couldn’t imagine living without.
