Lindsey grew up in South Hadley, Massachusetts and Peter grew up in Chicopee, Massachusetts. They met eachother through Lindsey’s cousin and her husband, who had worked with Peter. In February of 2022 they became boyfriend and girlfriend and eventually Peter and Lindsey moved in together. Throughout this time, they traveled to places to camp with one another in their camper to Maine and Vermont with friends and family. They also went on a cruise with one another to multiple different islands and went to the Dominican Republican, a well.

In late October of 2023 they decided to go on a trip to Key West. They flew into Fort Lauderdale and drove through the Keys where they first stopped in Islamorada for two nights and then ventured to Key West. While they were in Key West, they met up with one of Lindsey’s best friends and her husband who were currently on their honeymoon. Initially, Peter was planning to propose before meeting the friends for dinner but due the powerful winds that day, he did not go through with it. At this time, they traveled to a locally known bar, Irish Kevin’s, where Peter continued to have the ring on him, without Lindsey’s knowledge. Peter was even brought up on stage to engage in a competition. The next day, Peter planned to take Lindsey on a Sailboat for a wine and cheese outing. While they were on the sailboat, Peter then popped the question!
